1 cupHefeweizen
1 cupFlour
2 Eggs
1/4 cupSugar
2 tblButter
1 tspVanilla Extract

  1. Melt the butter, combine with the beer.
  2. Slowly whisk in the eggs, sugar, and finally the flour. Whisk slowly to ensure there are no lumps in the batter.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and whisk briefly.
  4. Heat a skillet, or griddle and coat with a thin layer of butter. For authentic crepes, spread the batter as thin as you can manage.
  5. Fill the crepes however you see fit. I like fruit (strawberries, blueberries, banana) drizzled with honey. Yum!
