Cinnamon 

Cinnamon rich in medicinal properties has been used in cooking and medicine since ancient times. Cinnamon-containing foods are more fragrant and full of medicinal properties. Good quality bark is produced mostly in Sri Lanka.


It can be called cinnamon and is taken from the bark of the tree. The inner bark is cut off by cutting the stems of the cinnamon tree and when they are dry the cinnamon is broken into sticks and sold. It has a high aroma and adds flavor to food when added. Clinically it can be said that these play a very important role in metabolism.

Products made from Cinnamon Stick


The cinnamon balm is also used in desserts, alcoholic beverages, medicine, soap, and toothpaste. Cinnamon Balm/oil, clove balm is similar in color. Its seed also used for extracting Cinnamon oil. 

Medicinal properties of cinnamon


Prevents dizziness and vomiting

Cinnamon is given as a temporary remedy for the cough problem. Its aroma and muscle-tightening properties help prevent dizziness and vomiting by expelling mucus.

 

Solving stomach problems


The chemical phenol in the Cinnamon removes bad breath. It is used medicinally for colds and flu. Cinnamon relieves all ailments such as indigestion, heartburn, and abdominal pain.

Arthritis and joint pain are cured


Cinnamon improves blood flow. Also correct arthritis, joint pain, muscle pain. It also increases the activity of the brain.

Regulating blood sugar levels


Cinnamon helps keep blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetics stable. It also helps the body secrete adequate amounts of insulin.

Full of antioxidants


Antioxidants help prevent damage to the body caused by oxidation. The antioxidant properties of the polyphenols in cinnamon make it more effective than garlic.

Cinnamon helps in weight loss. Cinnamon contains a small amount of fiber, which helps in digestion and elimination of toxins from the body.
