Mung Bean Dosa or Andhra Pesarattu

Pesara attu or Pesara dosa is one of the most commonly eaten breakfast or snack that is very popular in Andhra and Rajasthan. It is typically served with chutney. Unlike a normal dosa it will not have urad dal. Ok. lets make this healthy Pasara Attu or Pesarattu.

Ingredients:

Mung dal - 1 cup or Whole green gram 1 cup
Onion - 1
Green chilii - 4
Coriander leaves - ½ bunch
Salt as required
Rice flour - 2 tsp
oil as required
Curry leaves - 1 spring

Steps:

Soak the mung dal or whole green gram for 4 hours. Remove the skin, if you use whole green gram by washing. No need to remove completely.
Add chopped onion, green chilli and Coriander leaves into a mixer jar and crush it with mixer grinder.
Then add soaked mung dal in jar along with crushed items along with required salt and grind it to coarse. No need to grind smoothly. Now the batter is ready.

Add rice flour and chopped curry leaves with batter and mix it thoroughly.

Heat a dosa pan and put 1 big spoon of batter and spread with the spoon gently clockwise.
Add little oil in the edges and in center of dosa in order to turn easily.
After one side cooked, turn into another side to cook.
Now the healthy Pasara attu is ready.
Serve with your favorite chutney.
